Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your Seoultokyo account and the personal data associated with it at any time. We offer the methods below.

Option 1 — In the app

• Open Menu → Account.
• Select Delete account and confirm.
• Your account and associated data are removed; this action cannot be undone.

Option 2 — By email

Send a request from your registered email address to [email protected]with the subject "Delete my account." We verify ownership and complete deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account identity (name, email, profile picture from Google Sign-In or email signup).
• Passkey credentials associated with your account.
• Your watchlists, alert subscriptions, preferences, and push device tokens.
• Subscription records linked to your account (billing history retained only as required by law).

What may be retained

We may retain limited information where required by law (for example, tax or transaction records) or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Such data is deleted once those purposes are fulfilled.

Revoking Google access

If you signed in with Google, you can also revoke Seoultokyo's access from your Google Account permissions page. Revoking access stops future Google Sign-In but does not by itself delete the account data already stored; use Option 1 or 2 for full deletion.

계정·데이터 삭제 (한국어)

이용자는 언제든 계정과 개인정보를 삭제할 수 있습니다.

• 앱 내: 메뉴 → 계정 → 계정 삭제 후 확인
• 이메일: 가입한 이메일로 [email protected]에 "계정 삭제" 요청 (확인 후 30일 이내 처리)

삭제 항목: 계정 식별정보(이름·이메일·프로필), 패스키 자격증명, 관심종목·알림·설정·기기토큰, 구독 기록(법령상 보관 의무 제외). Google 로그인 사용자는 Google 계정 권한 페이지에서 접근 권한을 철회할 수 있습니다(철회만으로는 저장 데이터가 삭제되지 않으므로 위 방법으로 삭제 요청).
